Nothing is more special than the first few weeks of a newborns life. Newborn photography sessions are a priceless investment for your family, documenting the moments and details of this precious new time.
Newborn photography sessions are best done in the first 18 days of life. At this very young age babies are less aware of the world around them, and with the right environment they can sleep peacefully through their session. At this age they still have the flexibility to be posed in those beautiful womb-like positions. They are simply perfect.
All Though newborns are best captured within the first 18 days I do book newborns up till 4 weeks new.
As babies arrive on their own schedule the way I book newborn sessions is I pop your due date in my calendar so I have an estimated date of arrival. Then once your babe is earth side I get you to shoot me a quick message and that's when we choose the exact date for your session.
This way you are guaranteed your session with me in the ideal newborn time frame wether baby arrives early, late or right on time.
Due to booking babies this way I have a limited amount of bookings available each month so I thoroughly recommend booking as early in your pregnancy as possible.
If your little babe has already been born and you haven't pre booked please still shoot me a message as I always do my best to find an available session.
Newborn sessions are never rushed and may often have to stop for a feed or a quick cuddle from mum. If a baby becomes unsettled during the session, we will stop until he/she is settled again and nicely back asleep. Please remember that every newborn is different, no two have been photographed exactly the same.
All newborn sessions are held in my natural light studio in Lloyd. It is fully stocked with the finest wraps, props, outfits and accessories along with a client wardrobe of dresses for the mums to use if they wish.
When booking your newborn session I do require a $55 non refundable deposit. The remaining amount is then due the day of your session. I also offer pre-payment plans and Afterpay.
There are no hidden costs with any of my sessions with all the best images from each set beautifully edited and included in your final gallery.
